WTA Rear disk..

hi guys..urmm..i wanna ask something bout rear disk..can i put in Toyota LE 85 rear disk brake?..
and what is more suitable for myvi?..i mean just plug and play..

to me for best fitted is honda eg type..

at my place there is a shop sell the re-con plug n play rear disc complete set..

if i`m not mistaken,they r using toyota SEG disc..(a bit bigger than LE 85 n EG,EK i guess)

ezd & ghostrider: i`ve just checked with the person n the latest update price is rm1250(complete set).

mindless : definitely u can but (the price is slightly higher if u buy separately).bear in mind,normally car front disc are bigger than rear..just imagine urself the looks once u`ve install it..hehehe..and u hv to think the safety as well..

apish : lol..can install mah..try to save some money lor..one day rm10 enough ma..125days x rm10 = rm 1250..there u are..have to save for 125 days = 4months...

FUYOOO...i want some it...after fix to the car maybe it looks different...

what type thats disc and is it have waranty...?

mindless : last week i saw 1 myvi SE new facelift with rear disc n the caliper is in yellow..it was so nice..luckily both car are moving so i don`t know what kind of brand the fella using..

after ive made some research,observe and also 'usha2 line' from the taiko2,i found out most of the car model can fit into our myvi.but the different is the modification of the bracket.(i also found the owner hve used nissan skyline r33 twinpot front brake system)

i do asked the previous owner that used rear disc brake to their myvi,most of the used TOYOTA model.such as AE100,AE111,AE90 and lots more.thy said the modi doesn't need lots of work.plus the cost i more cheaper(less than rm1k include modi of bracket,disc skim and also labor charge).

disc brake AE100 found at half-cut=rm350+-
modification of bracket=rm100+-
labor charge=depend on the mechanic itself..

as like mr apish mentioned b4,honda ek,eg also can fitted into our myvi..

but be more extra cautious,sometimes after upgraded handbrake/ABS got some prob.but if you hve a good engineer then its okay.

*it will be great if u upgrade full braking system(front&rear) all together.your myvi will be look 'garang' on the road.besides,xkn nk upgrade blkg je.xsyok la klu blkg nmpak disc besar tp dpn pkai standard yg kecik molek tu...hehehee

p/s:actually im also planned to upgrade my braking system so i share with all of you the info that ive got..

its all just my 2cent..correct me if im wrong..SHARING IS CARING..hahahhaa
