| Hello kete_mama...i'm not an expert but i can explain a little bit...correct me if i'm wrong...
a) PU is bette than fibre b) why?.. PU is more heavy duty, won't crack if got minor accident... if fibre guaranteed crack...
but PU is more expensive than fibre, elastic compare to fibre..
c) famous question... i pass to expert to answer this question...

| ello kete_mama a) absolutely PU better than fibre.. b) coz fibre easily crack n won't stand vibration...fibre got 2 type..1st, single layer, which is light and cheap..but this type is easily crack, while 2nd is hard fiber.. this type normally they do 2 layer... this type is more reliable but heavier, for long term ur bumper can drop off (me and apish using this type ang having the same problem).. it won't crack but it won't stand vibration and much more heavier until one stage it will drop off by itself... PU is ok eventhough it not as good as ABS, but if u still want to buy, go for PU but PU price is quite expensive... c) i'm using 16" rim with 195/50 R16... so far petrol just slightly effect... didn't feel heavy... a lot of our member using 17"...steady...huhu but if u plan for 16", if want to lowered, try not using 205/45 coz it will scratch with body..tq.. hope i answer ur question... | |

| elo kete_mama..
i advice u using ori part where there is no defect and the most importance is doing it right for just once..
compare to me and arief, both of us had troublesome looking for money to change to ori SE bumper.hahaha... best part is, we being a fisherman (penternak ikan)...hahahha

| kete mama,
a) front & rear part or part whis are easily crash are suggested using PU side part to the top are suggested using fibre as fibre are cheaper.
b) advantage of PU are PU much more expensive than fiber.. PU are more elastic, but can't stand weather, not easily crack, fiber easily crak, but lightier and weather friendly.
c) better using 17" or 15" since tyre for 16" much more expensive, after change if light or heavy, won't feel much differrent as long as ur car looking great..

| Using 17" rim won't absolutely increase petrol consumption beb.. like mine... lightweight type... just change to Silverstone M-5 tyre (save petrol as they advertised)... 1pcs RM250...
Next month change new rim..17" also 4pcs... Lenso... Bridgestone Potenza 204/R17/40 tyre... 1pcs RM380.. |
