| How to Paint Brake Calipers
Want to do an easy modification to your wheels that doesn't break the bank. Consider painting your brake calipers for a colorful upgrade.
Supplies Needed:
Caliper Paint
Brake Cleaner
Wire Brush
Rachet with 12mm Socket
Draps/Newspaper and Tape
Step 1: Securely jack up the vehicle.
Step 2: Remove the tire and rim.
Step 3: Cover entire car, including wheel well with draps or newspaper and tape.
Step 4: Clean the caliper with wire brush and cleaner solution. The cleaner the better the paint will stick.
Step 5: Remove Caliper. Use rachet and remove the two bolts on the back side of the caliper.
Step 6: Rest the caliper on the rotor or hang it from the wheel well with a coat hanger. Be sure NOT to stress the brake line.
Step 7: Once removed clean again with brake cleaner and a tooth brush. Protect your eyes from the chemicals with googles.
Step 8: Mask off exposed cylinders.
Step 9: Place caliper in a place where you can access all sides and thoroughly spray paint them. Wait 10 mins and apply 2nd coat. Wait another 10 mins and apply 3rd coat if neccessary. Paint will be completely dry in 30 mins.
Step 10: Remove masking, reassemble brake caliper and remount wheels. | |

| Ok then, I will post my diy.. but I didn't diy it, Brothers did.. hehe.. only RM20.. but this is just to give some ideas for u guys to diy urself. so simple to do..  Mount up LED onto your headlights. i attached an eyelid and I mounted the led along the eyelid to preserve its shape. The led cost only RM29-39 a piece. If the led is too long, u can cut it short according to the length. The remaining can be used later on to other parts of your car with simple soldering..  I choosed white led, so I have to match my other lights with white. I changed the foglight too  Simple wiring is needed from the battery, into the relay and to the switch and led..  I choosed to attached the switch for the led here. So it needed to be drilled. Am soooo sad watching my car being drilled for the first time..  This is the result..   This is in full light mode. If u want to avoid the road officers, u can easily switch off the led from your switch inside. It will return to normal lighting mode... For my next diy, i wanted to attached dim white lights under the front bumper, slightly under the license plat. wait and see the results..  | |

| like this one do not have to use relay,,, just direct connect to the power,, fog light mybe or other,, buat if u one to put light under body,, for sure u have to put relay to support the power to ur light.. this way to do not forget to put 20A fius from power 12 v to the relay...
