I'm naive about ICE plz help me..tq

1)i got problem here about ICE..maybe this will sound naive..but thats true about my knowledge..i do installed the speaker for front (dashboard) and the rear door panel..and i juz put the speaker without looking at the brand as i know the brand is AMERICAN SOUND and i dont know whether this speaker is among the famous brand one or not...anyone here heard about this brand??(i have googled it at the internet but i cant found information about this brand) is it this brand among cap ayam brand??

2)i juz bought the speaker because the accesory shop said my door panel is bunyi2 and longgar2..and he said if u open ur door panel again the noisy sound from ur door panel will be more noisier so its better u change ur OEM speaker this time to prevent ur door panel will give more noisy sound after this if u want to change the speaker next time (at that time i also tinted my car and opened my door panel ) thats why i trust what he said ..is it truth about this?? open ur door panel many times will make ur door panel loose and contribute noisy sound??

3)After i calculated about watt ( i dont know how to call it) for the 4 speakers it equivalent to 400 watt is it enough for normal user?? and im using the OEM cd player plus that 4 speakers is it enough also for normal user??? if i juz want to use this OEM player only and i plan to use amp for get better sound, is it working for my ICE system?? to shorten my problem here i juz wanna know..whether this OEM CD player + 400 watt speaker + AMP will contribute SIGNIFICANT result for the better ICE sound??

4)for two front speaker (got built in tweeter) + two speaker at the back it cost me RM400 plus installation...is the price sound acceptable /cheaper ?? or i can get more cheaper than this if comparing to other favourite brand??

5) I heard from friend if we change our speaker to the bigger watt speaker it will decrease our car battery life?? is it true?? if yes what can we do to prevent this???

dats rite bro,
if u play ICE u hav to use voltage stabilizer+grounding cable to boost your ICE, sound, and keep your battery long lasting+a better performance.
theres lots of type nowdays.
but 1 of d famous brand is PIVOT.
u can get d pivot VSE+grounding cable around rm240++.

gorgon 1383: i do installled pivot stablizer ok tq so problem no 5 solved ..so thats mean i dont have any problem to install high voltage /watt speaker ICE in the future isn it??

for q no 5 - i've asked apish and some other guys that day.they said,if possible,prepare a second battery to support your current battery

for q no 4 - i don't think the price represent the quality of the sound.better if u can provide us with the brand or if possible with the technical data so we can decide the quality of the sound

dats all from me.the rest is up to those who are really in this line hehe anyway,just as a reminder,my answer is based on my understanding from what i heard and learn from the sifu,so,there is possibility that it's not 100% correct

bro : ur american sound i dont know from where..but all of this speaker comes in one factory n their re-brand back on their company but QC still under control them la..

for ur information, 4' for dashboard n 6.5' for rear panel door..please use the suitable speaker like i said..after u install new one,please used this :http://www.maxaudio.com.my/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=1535..this item can reduce ur noisy..

dont calculate like that..for normal used 4'-150watt, 6.5'-180 watt..kiraan bukan berdasarkan campur 4 speaker..
ICE have 2 type - SPL n SQ
SPL - Sound Presure Level = suitable for kaki disco n RNB..why?more bass in this type.
SQ - Sound Quality = suitable for normal user.why?more clear sound than bass.

Dont play the music without start ur engine..hu3..because alternator will charge u battery..kalu on ja memanjang tanpa start,bateri tak dapat support charge dari alternator..that why battery cepat kong..I thinks my answer can make u better now..

b : just sharing ja..i suggs 4 way..becoz the price high rm30-50 than 2way amp..also u can put 2 more type speaker..like 6x9' at back n 6.5 component at ur pintu depan..n put monoblock + subwoofer..thats we call basic system..hu3..price around 1-2k..base on brand la..beli sikit2 dulu..hu3

AMERICAN SOUND is still consider `ok` to new comers because they also hv a good line up of ice parts.BUT it is not easy to determine which model is good because most of the accesory shop will sell the low-entry model line.u hv to very2 careful on that.in short,for future don`t buy that model anymore.d good things is,this brand is still better than `kedai abg stuff`.huhuhu..not to say 100% cap ayam lor...

THIS IS NOT A FACT BUT LIES TOTALLY..

Measuring the watts is not easy as we think.a lot of things hv to take cr of from head unit,speakers,amp,crossover,wiring,fius,RCA cable,batery terminal.For ICE tuner,they are based on RMS.normally,good n quality stuff`s watts is lesser.(DONT TOO RELY ON WATTS,IT IS A TRICKS ACTUALLY).

fyi,the is a few stage in ICE.
1-low-entry
2-middle-range
3-high-end

always ask urself,what really u need n ur budjet.this is very2 important.nvr eva eva trust the taukey.hahhaha..

the answer is yes n no..

depends on how many parts u install.if like ur existing one,no need..

people hv their own perception in listening.it is too general to describe..

This is my recommendation if u want to hv good sound by not install too many cable(can save cost maa).

HEAD UNIT : ECLIPSE 7200 MK11 (HIGH END PARTS.COSTS 2K ABOVE)
FRONT N REAR SPEAKER : FOCAL,RS AUDIO,AUDISON,FELIX,HERTZ (use 6.5 inc)
AMP : AUDISON,ROCKFORD FOSGATE
WOOFER : JL W7 12
ELECTRONIC CROSSOVER : AS BRAND above.U MAY CHOOSE EITHER ONE
CAPASITOR : ROCKFORD FOSGATE (capasitor is one of alternative way to store ur battery power.it comes with 0.5 farad,1 farad,1.5 f,2 f and 20 f)

NOT TO FORGET TO COMPLETE UR CAR WITH SOUNDPROOF DYNAMITE EXTREME AND ALWAYS USE GOOD CABLE.

p/s:u may check the brand above thru website.they hv been in this line for a long time ago n the quality is proven.n that not all,always buy from the authorised dealer for easy claim once it broke..trust me..don`t go for online purchase.i`ve bad experience once.trust me dude..
