zarema: Why we need immoblize our if our car already have the immoblize system already? I mean our stock alarm already include immob system...dosen't it works?

Do u mean the alarm sound?

I'm interested to install alarm sound for locking and unlocking the car by remote, like proton cars. the default setting dont have any sound, sometimes I need to check 2 times to make sure i've locked my car. at least with the sound I can be sure. I've seen some cars got the sound like 'do re mi' when locking / unlocking the door. Any idea where I can get it and the price including installation?

Just install the new alarm system...cost maybe EzD or as_simpleman can be reffered

aylanin : what u wanna install it call buzzer..its true myvi dont have sound for lock/unlock car..so to prevent forgotten to lock your car here da thingy (buzzer)..

Now almost every accessories car shop sale this thingy..last couple of years abt RM60+installation but now more cheaper...

Jeff : hi there..welcome to da club bro..effect at immo? meaning damage or not functionable? im a 2 way alarm user until now so far so good 2 years im using it..we still need ori immo for use 2 way alarm for autostart function..no need to throw away..

it means that u did not have to take away the immobilizer rite?but i dont understand why the immo is needed for the autostart function.besides that did u take out the original alarm?nway,can u tell me whats the brand of ur alarm & how much its cost...

jeff : yup dats rite..still needed..nob did not take out ori alarm..im using Ver.2 TENON 2-way Alarm..last time was RM300 include installation but now no idea..

bro ezd, please give me some advice. i just install tenon 2 way alarm system at JE automart shah alam, but they take out the imobiliser chip at my car key and install the chip at the car starter to bypass the imobiliser check, coz they had told me if they not install the imobiliser chip at the car starter, the tenon remote engine start will not be functional. please give some advice. i bought the tenon at rm350 included with installation. TQ

dont worry bro..its same step wat they done on my car for alarm system..now im using almost 3 years..alhumdulillah dont have any problem..hope these may help u..
