shamiin : hahaha..thanx maman..actualy tachometer with shifting light only for give u alert/warn dat u need to change gear..so your engine not running over rev this can cause you lifetime engine & gearbox damage...& what is shamiin says above is correct..

when i turn off the engine n take off my car key n one red light will be blingking at the RMP meter as i remember
what that blingking remind for???

i just want to know the limit of the car coz i just brought a new one... n is there a cut off limit between the RPM? i mean some car if the RPM meter just go the red line..then it would sort of cut of your engine n you will feel like your car is broken down...

K3-VE : hi & welcome to da club..How fast i drive on my myvi? my car only can reach 165kmh (17inch rim) within 2km...actually what im know only speedometer have a cut limit not tachometer (RPM) for standard car in Malaysia unless you modified the car..if u wanna take care your engine, shift gear to gear without high
REV (until REDline) in your manual transmission..

have you tried need for speed games before?? The RPM thing almost the same...overev (redline) will make ur car blast...hahah..How fast i drive on my myvi? my car only can reach 180kmh (lebuhraya pantai timur 14inch rim standard)

em...so far i can reach to 170km at elite highway....rim 15inch....but i think my car can reach to 180km maksimum(maybe)...but i love my LIFE..hahahaha..just shared..maybe any member get fastest than me..200km maybe..who know?
